This is the first book of its kind written especially for young people. It describes real-life challenges grade-school kids encounter and how they can be solved by a variety of quality tools. Beginning with an introduction to parents and teachers, the authors first summarize the book and explain how best to use it. Next, they identify the four main tools used in their teaching, and offer many examples and activities to aid in the students learning. Each chapter starts with a story that presents a problem that students or teachers may come across; the authors then explain which tools can be used to overcome these problems and also give examples of how to apply these tools to other problems. The many illustrations aid in the students' understanding of the tools they are using, while the helpful glossary aids the parents and teachers.
